Amanda D. Miller is the Owner and Principal of Mavis Consulting, LLC, a boutique advisory practice founded in 2013 and based in Raleigh, North Carolina. 

Mavis Consulting specializes in helping executives navigate complex change and organizational challenges. Clients across the United States rely on Amanda as a trusted thought partner known for discretion, sound judgment, and the ability to create strategy and translate it into clear narratives that move organizations forward. 

With nearly two decades of consulting experience, Amanda’s background spans global public health agencies, multi-state and regional healthcare systems, emerging technology and digital innovation companies, and select hospitality organizations. While she enjoys collaborating across industries, health is her primary focus. She brings discernment and a deep understanding of how large systems operate, including experience within Fortune 500 environments, to deliver clarity, structure, change management, and narrative direction in complex settings. 

Mavis Consulting is named in honor of Amanda’s great-grandmother, whose courage, determination, and resilience continue to shape the practice. This legacy inspires a commitment to service and a healthier tomorrow. Amanda has served on the boards of Lean In and the YMCA, and her philanthropic efforts support cancer research and advocacy, women’s health, and initiatives that advance access to healthcare and higher education. Amanda holds a Graduate Certificate in Leadership from Cornell University, a MA in Communication with an emphasis in Health Communication from East Carolina University (ECU), and a BA in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations, also from ECU.
